About

People deserve agency, not autopilot

Most financial tools either bury you in jargon or quietly decide things on your behalf. BotDaddy LIFE does the research, lays out the tradeoffs in plain language, and waits for you to decide. No black box, no autopilot — just a clearer view of your own choices, with you holding the wheel the entire time.

Use Cases

See where BotDaddy can reduce decision friction

Cash-flow planning

See how upcoming income and expenses line up before you commit to anything.

See an example

For example: rent is due in 6 days and a $340 phone bill lands in 9 — BotDaddy shows both against your expected paycheck, so you know exactly what's tight and what's fine.

Major purchases

Compare financing options and tradeoffs before a big buy, not after.

See an example

For example: comparing a $28,000 car loan at 6.9% over 60 months against paying cash and keeping your emergency fund intact — laid out side by side, not buried in a dealer's financing page.

Business decisions

Lay out options for a business call with the same rigor, without the guesswork.

See an example

For example: deciding whether to hire a contractor or take on the work yourself — BotDaddy lays out the real cost and time tradeoffs of each, not just a gut call.

Advisor preparation

Walk into a meeting with an advisor already knowing your options and questions.

See an example

For example: before a retirement-planning meeting, BotDaddy helps you list your real questions and options ahead of time, so the meeting builds on your prep instead of starting from zero.

Financial organization

Bring scattered accounts and statements into one clear, read-only view.

See an example

For example: three accounts across two banks and a brokerage, normally scattered across separate logins, shown together in one place — read-only, nothing moved.

Ongoing decision tracking

Keep a running record of decisions made and why, so nothing gets lost.

See an example

For example: six months from now, you can look back and see exactly why you chose to refinance in March — not just that you did.

Features

Designed to make informed control the default

Plain-language explanations

No jargon by default — every option is explained in terms you'd use with a friend.

Scenario comparison

See two or more paths side by side before you commit to one.

Confirmation gates

Nothing moves forward until you explicitly approve it — every time.

Decision records

Every choice is written down with its reasoning, so you can look back later.

Read-only by default

Access starts observation-only. Nothing can be moved unless you turn that on.

User-held control

You hold the keys throughout — nothing here asks you to hand them over.

How It Works

A decision workspace, not an autopilot

Every decision moves through the same five steps, in plain view.

1
Ask
Bring a question in plain language — no forms to fill out first.
2
Research
BotDaddy gathers relevant, read-only data on your behalf.
3
Compare
Real options are laid out side by side, tradeoffs included.
4
Decide
You approve, modify, or decline. Nothing moves without you.
5
Document
The decision and its reasoning are saved to your history.

The Approval Loop

Underneath every step above, the same authorization loop runs — so nothing ever executes without you.

  1. 1
    Read-only connection

BotDaddy connects to your accounts in view-only mode — nothing is movable at this stage.

  2. 2
    Research & options

It gathers relevant data and drafts real options — never a single "answer."

  3. 3
    Plain-language proposal

You see the proposal with reasoning, risk, and tradeoffs spelled out up front.

  4. 4
    Approve, modify, or decline

You choose exactly what happens next. Nothing executes without this step.

  5. 5
    Recorded outcome

The decision and its reasoning are saved to your history, ready for the next loop.

Trust & Security

Built around custody you keep

Unlike trading bots that execute quietly on their own logic, every BotDaddy proposal shows its reasoning and waits for your approval before anything happens.

Does BotDaddy hold my money?
No. BotDaddy never takes custody of funds — your money stays with your existing accounts and institutions.
Can it move funds without me?
No. Every action requires your explicit approval before anything executes — there is no autonomous path around that.
Can I see why an option was suggested?
Yes. Every proposal ships with its reasoning, not just a bare recommendation. For example: a proposal to hold rather than rebalance might read "Recommends holding — your portfolio's volatility is within your stated comfort range, and no planned expense in the next 90 days requires liquidity." That's the level of detail behind every proposal, not just a yes/no.
Are actions documented?
Yes. Every decision and the context behind it are saved to a reviewable history.
Can I limit account access?
Yes. Access is read-only by default and scoped to only what you choose to connect.
Can I export my history?
Yes. Your decision history belongs to you and can be exported at any time.
What does BotDaddy actually read from my account?
Your balances, open orders, and trade history, through Kraken's own read-only permissions — plus the ability to place trades once you approve them. Withdraw access is never granted, so funds can't leave your account through BotDaddy. Full permission list in the Help Center.

FAQ

Common questions

Does BotDaddy hold my money?
No. BotDaddy never takes custody of funds — your money stays with your existing accounts and institutions.
Can BotDaddy move money on its own?
