Strategy A
Defaults to no trade. Only participates when conditions are unusually clean.
Strategy A governs behavior under uncertainty by assuming that doing nothing is often the correct move. A trade has to earn its way past multiple refusals before Strategy A will act. It behaves the same way on good days and bad days — no urgency after a loss, no confidence after a win.
Doctrine
- Defaults to no trade — inaction is treated as a successful outcome, not a missed opportunity
- Only operates in low-volatility conditions
- Fixed position sizing — never scales up or down based on recent results
- No revenge trading, no chasing losses, no urgency
